Summary: FasTribe collects only the data needed to provide the service. We do not sell your data. Health data (fasting logs, glucose readings) is stored securely and never shared with third parties without your consent.

1. Who We Are

FasTribe is a metabolic health application operated by the FasTribe team. For all privacy enquiries, contact us at admin@fastribe.org.

3. How We Use Your Data

• To provide, maintain, and improve the FasTribe app and website

• To notify waitlist subscribers when the app launches on the Play Store (you may unsubscribe at any time)
• To moderate community content and feedback submissions
• To diagnose technical issues and improve app stability

4. Health Data — Special Category

Fasting logs and glucose readings are classified as health data under GDPR Article 9. We process this data solely to provide the service you have requested. This data is stored in an encrypted database, is never sold or shared with advertisers, and is not used for any purpose other than powering your personal FasTribe experience. You may export or delete all your health data at any time by contacting admin@fastribe.org.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with:

• Stripe — payment processing for Pro subscriptions
• Cloud infrastructure providers — for hosting, database storage, and file storage
• Law enforcement — only when required by applicable law or valid legal process

6. Data Retention

We retain your account and health data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, all personal data and health records are permanently deleted within 30 days. Anonymised, aggregated usage statistics (which cannot identify you) may be retained indefinitely for product research.

7. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the following rights:

• Access — request a copy of all data we hold about you
• Rectification — correct inaccurate personal data
• Erasure — request deletion of your account and all associated data
• Portability — receive your health data in a machine-readable format
• Objection — object to processing based on legitimate interests
• Opt-out of marketing — unsubscribe from any email communication at any time

8. Cookies

The FasTribe website uses a single session cookie for authentication purposes only. We do not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels, or third-party analytics cookies. The mobile app does not use cookies.

9. Children's Privacy

FasTribe is not intended for use by anyone under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from minors. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal data, please contact us immediately at admin@fastribe.org.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify users via the app and update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of FasTribe after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
